Taiwan Report
2006 was quite a year for Rainbow 7 - the Exodus ministry in Taipei to help people who wish to overcome their same sex behaviour. They celebrated their 10th anniversary of ministry with a weekend conference in September that had over 150 delegates attending as well as other Exodus ministry leaders from USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia attending.
Rainbow 7 Ministry leader Jenny Li and her team had spent months organising the Conference. Just weeks before the conference the rainbow flag of the gay activists, flew over Taipei City Hall indicating City Hall solidarity with the pro gay agenda . In 2003 Taiwan legalised gay marriage but has been pro gay since 1994.
Local church leaders were supportive of the Conference as they are concerned to have a compassionate and Biblical response to the growing pro gay agenda in Taiwan. Rainbow 7 will continue to educate and equip the church on how to minister to same sex strugglers.
