MEDIA RELEASE: WORLD WIDE DAY OF PRAYER
A world wide day of prayer and fasting is held annually, organized by Exodus Asia Pacific. It will be held on Monday June 29th 2009 by Christian ministries that give support and counsel to those seeking to overcome life controlling sexual and relational problems.

Many Christians world wide struggle with sexual addictions, sexual immorality, are the victims of sexual abuse, or have unwanted same sex attractions. Often they have no one to discuss their problems with.

However, there are now many Christian ministries such as Exodus, Living Waters, Courage and many independent ministries who can help Christians with their sexual difficulties. These Ministries, based in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America will be involved in the day of prayer and fasting that will focus on bringing God's healing love and forgiveness to sexual strugglers.

Mr Peter Lane of Exodus Asia Pacific (Australia) and the organizer of the day said that, "'When Jesus died on the cross He died for all our needs which includes the broken areas of our sexuality. When He rose again from the dead it shows we can also experience newness of life not only in our spirit but also in our sexuality which can be transformed to His likeness. We pray that as a result of this day many who struggle in their sexuality will come to understand these truths."
